AMP11 / INVESTOR BRIEFINGUpdated October 23, 2026
06 / PILOT + EVIDENCE

A pilot should answer the decision to
expand.

The investment thesis advances through evidence: managers using Cait under shift pressure, useful support in daily work, greater leadership capacity and operators choosing to deploy more broadly.

01 / Baseline

The starting point

Manager workload, shift patterns, eligible users and the operator’s approved knowledge establish the context for evaluation.

02 / Early shifts

Reliability & utility

Answer quality, availability and useful Read-In and Read-Out interactions indicate whether Cait fits the work.

03 / Pilot window

Sustained adoption

Usage across managers and shifts, handoff continuity and operator feedback show whether value persists.

04 / Decision

Commercial validation

Paid conversion and additional locations indicate whether the operator sees enough value to expand.

Early leading indicators

Manager engagementRepeat use across eligible managers, locations and shifts.
Reliable guidanceAnswers grounded in the operator’s approved policies and knowledge.
Manager capacityChanges in perceived load and time spent finding information or reconstructing context.
Handoff continuityRelevant Read-Outs, useful Read-Ins and follow-through on open items.
Leadership capacityGreater ability to coach, recognize, support and develop people during the shift.
Crew experienceClarity, manager support, recognition, teamwork, development and work sentiment.

Commercial & longer-term evidence

Paid conversionOperators moving from a pilot to an ongoing subscription.
Portfolio expansionAdditional locations committed, activated and generating recurring revenue.
Team stabilityRetention and other team outcomes observed over an appropriate follow-up period.
Restaurant economicsMeasured operating impact, with context for attribution and comparison.
Operator advocacyReferences, expansion sponsorship and willingness to introduce Cait to peers.

How the pilot is measured.

Shift managers / leaders

Preparedness, handoff quality, ability to find answers, perceived shift effectiveness, stress, leadership capacity, work sentiment and intended tenure.

General managers

Visibility when absent, catch-up effectiveness, consistency with and without the GM present, interruptions, confidence taking time away and leader development.

Crew

Whether stronger manager capacity shows up as support, recognition, development, clarity, teamwork, lower stress and better employee sentiment.

Measurement cadence.

D0 / PRE-USE
Baseline

Establish the unexposed starting point before Cait use.

D21
Midpoint

Repeat the same core measures and add Cait-specific feedback.

D45
Pilot end

Repeat measures and combine them with usage and available operating context.

D90–180
Follow-through

Where feasible, evaluate actual retention, voluntary separation and new-hire survival.

Evidence status.

From early signals to an investment case.

Live restaurant deployment and early indicators are the next proof points for this stage. Sustained usage and operator value will inform commercial expansion and the terms of subsequent financing.

The framework describes the evidence being pursued. Early observations will be distinguished from completed pilot results and longer-term outcomes. Forty-five-day changes are leading evidence, not causal proof of turnover reduction.
